As an artist working primarily in acrylics, my style combines contemporary realism and a growing influence of surrealism and abstract forms. My paintings often delve into nostalgia, drawing inspiration from the periods of the 1940s and ‘50s. My subjects range from vintage-style portraits and old rusty cars to more traditional subjects like flowers, fish, and birds. I am particularly interested in exploring different means of creating contrast in texture and color, as well as experimenting with new techniques to bring my subjects to life on the canvas. My goal is to create paintings that are not only visually striking but also emotionally evocative, inviting the viewer to take a journey through the past and present.
